Maxim Koretskyi

I'm a full-stack engineer who builds end-to-end systems — from frontend interfaces to distributed backends to AI/LLM orchestration. I like going deep into how things work and sharing what I learn through writing.

What I do

Most recently at Aimea.ai, I architected an agentic interview engine — a system that combines deterministic state machines with LLM-driven transitions, real-time speech processing, and avatar orchestration. Before that, I spent four years at KAWA.ai as a founding engineer, building a data workflow platform from scratch: Angular and React on the frontend, Java and Python services on the backend, AI/ML runtimes for agent-like automation, and AWS infrastructure managed with Terraform.

Earlier in my career, I worked on monorepo tooling at Nx, represented ag-Grid as a developer advocate at conferences worldwide, and led front-end architecture at GlobalLogic.

What I work with

TypeScript, Python, and Java across the stack. Angular, React, and TanStack on the frontend. Node.js (NestJS) and Python (FastAPI) with PostgreSQL on the backend. LLM orchestration and agentic systems for AI work. GCP, Docker, Terraform, and Ansible for infrastructure.

Writing & community

I'm a Google Developer Expert (GDE) in Web Technologies. I've published over 100 technical articles on web engineering — deep dives into Angular internals, change detection, rendering pipelines, and more. I contribute to open source (Marimo, Hive, Nx) and enjoy breaking down complex systems into clear explanations.
